I am just one American — of hundreds of millions of frustrated Americans — who really hates the new brand of “American Patriots.”
Just this month, Hillary Clinton explained why she believes she is a “better American” than Barack Obama. John McCain, an American war hero blasts the “anti-American” Americans for not “supporting the troops,” while Barack Obama clumsily trips over his own brand of Clintonian (Bill) rhetoric and no doubt has his idea of what it means to be an American.
Nationalism Kills
Patriotism has given rise to corporate fraud — see the home mortgage crisis, corporate bailouts and the economic death and resurrection of Bear Stearns. Patriotism has allowed war crimes to occur with some regularity and go unpunished, while the merits of using torture are now fair game in a scholarly debate. The average Joe has no problems with torture “because terrorists do it, why shouldn’t we?” The words torture, treason, illegal, and “cover-up” barely register on the American radar of justice anymore.
Reality Of American Politics and War
Here’s a reality check for all you woe-is-me propagandists who are focused on these trivial issues that are being used to divide Americans and control the outcome of the 2008 election: American men and boys in uniform are being blown up in the middle east while oil companies are making record profits and our government looks the other way! Despite myriad American failures, patriotism has allowed an administration to get away with murder, so-to-speak. Though we, the great Americans, may not see it, the rise of international hatred of Americans is becoming a concern for our government. Patriotism has destroyed our ability to think about problems and solve them in the name of true justice or liberty.
Despite the illegal invasion of Iraqi soil, the continued illegal occupation of Iraq, the witness accounts of torture and mass murders of civilians by contractors, our media continues to focus on the words of pastors and the cries of American “patriots” who claim to be offended by elitism. Maybe they haven’t been paying attention, but it is the “elite” that have been running our country for hundreds of years. Don’t think for a second that you can find your way into the White House without being wealthy and very well-connected.
The betrayal and lies that have allowed propaganda to pass as “debate on the issues” needs to stop or the American spirit will forever break. Do you still want to talk about how a Yale grad running for President is more or less “elite” than some Harvard grad? Can we step back for a moment and talk about the real problems?

This is how a once great nation will fall.
In the past couple of days, I have seen several people questioning the validity of the 9/11 attacks. The rabbit hole delves so much deeper, my fellow craigsians. The sovereignty of the US is in question and has been in question since the formation of the Federal Reserve Bank, World War I, and the intended outcome of WWI - the League of Nations.
We are slowly and methodically being made slaves right under our noses while we fiddle on our iPods and buy our new flat screen TVs and waste time on an election that will not change anything. This course was set before Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, or John McCain spawned from the womb. Please, if you care about Thomas Jefferson, “We the people…” Freedom of Speech. Please start googling and researching these items. They can only call it a Conspiracy Theory until it is fact.
The agreement on a “North American Union” was signed by GW in 2005. It was right around this same time that they abolished Habeas Corpus for “enemy combatants.” Soon our Federal government will change the definition of the enemy combatant, and I will be one. Habeas Corpus is the foundation of our Republic and the “inalienable” rights of man.

Vets are pissed, and while we may not agree on politics, we agree on our country.
Civilians be warned, fuck up too bad and you will see anger like its’ never been shown to the population.
You thrive and survive due to our efforts, you have yet to show you are worthy of our efforts.
hey brothers and sisters, I say we escalate the volume of diatribes against the government until we hit some kind of “critical mass” Things will not change until, by sheer force of will, we effect real change. Blast the elite from every angle, rail against republicans and democrats alike; our best defense will be an overwhelming offense. The next war our country needs, if any, is a socioeconomic war. Brothers and sisters of all races need to unite against the elite. Nature and Destiny will create opportunities and victories for us. More later
hello again, People of like minds need to come together and brainstorm and act on their ideas. Pool resources, stockpile necessary items, be aware of open doors as they come. A grass roots movement based on mutual disgust for the elite and what they are doing needs to start gaining momentum. This is not a new idea. Our current economic situation could serve as a catalyst. Small differences could be set aside as we focus on a few clearcut objectives. Is anyone out there feeling the way I do? I know you are out there. Movements of this nature have changed the course of history. It can happen again.
